The Frassati Chapel at the Newman House
The chapel located inside the Newman House (1 Redmond Ave. Glassboro, NJ) is named after Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassiti. The Blessed Sacrament is present in the tabernacle in the chapel, which is open daily for prayer during the hours the Newman House is open.
Community rosary is prayed daily in the Chapel. Thursdays from 2-3pm Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
The Frassati Chapel is named after Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, who will be canonized a saint by Pope Leo XIV on September 7, 2025. He is the patron for young adult Catholics. St. Pope John Paul II said “He is the man of the eight beatitudes who bears in himself the grace of the Gospel, the Good News, the joy of salvation offered to us by Christ...” Because of this, we have windows dedicated to him with the eight beatitudes in our Chapel.
All students are welcome and encouraged to pray in our Frassati Chapel.
